Next Step Ads For ENTEK Extruders Win Plastics Technology's Readership Awards For 2nd Year In A Row

Author: Mitch Hannoosh

Kittery Point, ME (June 22, 2015) . . . For the second year in a row, Next Step-produced print advertisements for ENTEK Extruders have won readership awards after appearing in Plastics Technology magazine.

The full-page ads, which appeared in the April 2014 and April 2015 issues of Plastics Technology, won for scoring in the top ten as ‘best read’ ads in each issue; and perhaps more impressively, scored as the second ‘best read’ ad in the primary equipment category in 2014, and the first ‘best read’ ad in that same category in 2015.

Gardner Research conducts their AdTrak Readership Report each April for Plastics Technology magazine, to survey readers and measure advertising performance. Primary objectives of the study are to measure and evaluate ad readership, and pass-along receivership.  Over 6,000 e-mailed surveys were sent out to the magazine’s recipients.

“We’re proud of this accomplishment, especially because the two ads were quite different and represented two separate ad campaigns,” said Greg Hannoosh, President of Next Step. “The 2014 ad was a continuation of the well-recognized ‘people’ campaign ENTEK had run since 2011. The 2015 ad was brand new, with new colors and branding, focusing on the company’s introduction of its new QC3 43mm twin-screw extruder. It’s a validation of not just good design, but also of ENTEK’s great reputation in the industry, that these ads scored so high.”
